We worked on styling her for a few changes for her and Rhianna’s “Good Girl Gone Bad” European tour. We also had the pleasure of styling Ciara [ who by far has to be the sweetest celebrity I have worked with EVER] for her new movie “Mama I wanna sing”. It was a longggggggg day on set, and even though it was a PICK UP DAY [ industry term for a scene that needed to be re-shot] , That was my first movie set working as a stylist, and its grusome. Long hours, rushing to wait, and trying my hardest not to fall asleep.
But at the top of the year, I will be spending more time in NYC working with Mariel, assisting her and picking up a few gigs that she will pass on. As a come up kid, I have learned.. it doesnt matter how established you are.. it never hurts to fall back and get back into learning mode.. so from Mariel, Im gaining my NYC STYLING EXPERIENCE.
