Don’t pull a Fadia and go on a first date to watch KITE RUNNER….. I ended up looking like the ultimate softie, when in all reality all I wanted to do was put my head down and act like something got in my eye. [ There I said it.. I’m a cancer.. I’m a closet sensi are you fully entertained??!!? Jeeeeezzzz]… If he would have made fun of me, I would have accidentally spilled the Icee on his ass..
I read the book back in 2003 and even gave it as a present for Christmas in 2004 [thats how touched I was by it].. and I have to admit, the movie is just as good if not better. Its rare for a film to capture the elements of my imagination along with the authors to be brought to life.
It’s a story of unconditional love, redemption, courage, and long lasting friendships…ALL the things I’m working on for 2008.
