but real shit… MY NAME IS MY NAME.. my uncle used to say that all the time.. and when I started using my NAME as the logo on everything.. people used to be stuck on Company names and Logos, telling me shit like “your so vain, who uses their name?” and my personal fave “Who do you think you are that you name is gonna bring folks out”..To that I would say that I was never scared to stand alone, put myself out there and if I bombed at something that had my name on it.. I would take all the fault.. didnt need to hide behind a company name.. thats why CUK came later.. after my name and I just wanted to associate QUALITY with my name.. and that saying would always be in the back of my mind… while folks got caught up in the hype of a cool “faux company” name.. I got caught up in pumping steroids in my name so it can carry weight.
So how fitting to hear Marlo say it in the 2nd to last episode.. MY NAME IS MY NAME homie.. FADIA KADER

I love “The Wire”….I was going crazy looking at the last episode…even had dreams about it….this is by far the craziest thing since my boy Stinger Bell was shot up…I don’t know what is about to happen; but, I am eager to find out.
