Talked about the “Art of Letting Go”

Something I have been really focused on doing in the past week.. in lieu of recent events.

“New Friend” has been real good with helping me, help myself, of letting go and really working on moving forward on making my life better.

The reason being?!?!

Saves your sanity - unless you let go of those things over which you are powerless, you run the risk of burning out your emotional and physical energy, enthusiasm, spirit, resources, and reserves. Letting go is an act by which you release your need to control every situation, person, place, or thing in order to ensure that your sanity is not threatened.

No more going to emtional rollercoaster movies with boys for the first time!!

But .. it is a GREAT movie!!! Highly suggest watching it….

and to my surprise… COMEUPKIDS.COM made the cut too… on page 64.. but Dan wrote a nice little number on me… had me blushing, sitting at Barnes and Nobles mad flushed, and proud, and excited…

Its dope to see someone put your work out there for the world to see..

with a few minor corrections…

• Broke and Boujee was a monthly.. if it was a weekly.. I would have ended it 3 months in…
• I didn’t move to NYC to work with anyone.. I moved to move….to get the city out my system

Anyways.. make sure you cop it.. this months issue.. Its a family affair in the NEXT 100 list.. TheNewPop.com is in there.. Klever is in there… Jackie Chain is in there… Treasure Fingers… I mean shit.. it must mean something when u know the majority of the folks on the list…

Well.. I can honestly say that Im blessed to call Ms.Garner one of my very good friends, we met back in 2004, and its been on ever since…. She’s my 3am convo buddy on g-chat, gives me advice on my career, and inspires me to go faster, and be stronger.  The ultimate cheerleader in the corner, reminding me to brush off the haters, and pick my head up.

Shes my partner in our joint venture GRITTY GLAM SQUAD… yes it took a backseat to CUK, but best believe its coming by the end of the year… watch and learn… GARNER x KADER = CREATIVITIES INSPIRATION
