Palm Trees
Everyone outside of the Bay seems to think that all of California is just lined with beautiful palm trees. Well, it’s not. Maybe some or most of So.Cal but the palm trees aren’t so bountiful up here in the Bay. Stanford University’s Palm Drive, however, is lined with well over 100 palm trees and they get new ones each year. Each palm tree costs $30,000 (could be more but that was the price a few years ago).
