PARQ is a free trend publication based out of Portugal.  It was founded in 2007 by Francisco Vaz Fernandes, Valdemar Lamego and Carla Isidoro who began working together at DIF magazine.  PARQ is directed towards the young, fashion-conscious and globally-minded public which take pride in being informed about new technologies, fashion, leisure and culture.

I first heard of PARQ in November of last year.  The concept is dope.  The magazine is divided into 5 sections: Real People, Trends, Beat, Titbits and Fashion.  It’s an entirely free publication, distributed around areas of Portugal (mainly Lisbon) and available online via PDF with English and French translations.  PARQ keeps you in the know internationally and environmentally responsible by conserving paper.  They have big advertisers (i.e. Levi’s, Puma, Stolichnaya Vodka) and a circulation of about 50,000.  PARQ just released their first issue this month and I’m sure they’re getting tons of web traffic.
