If you are considering an executive career in Television, I recommend you read the pages of Televisual and get familiar.  From the website: “Televisual writes with ‘the producer’ in mind, from winning the commission, to co-pro financing, IP and overseas programme sales. Televisual showcases what’s happening in programme making (both the content and the people), while recognising the role of progressive production technology and workflows and the facilities partners who make the kit come alive. By having producers as the core target readers, those who circulate around them gravitate towards the magazine.”  Oh yeah, it’s based in the UK so that explains the strange spellings of program and recognize.  I got a sample issue in today and I must say, even though I’m not in TV, it’s a darn good read.  There’s a lot of opportunity in these pages.
