I’m sorry y’all. I’ve been MIA. Well actually, not so much MIA but more like always interrupted while trying to post. There are 3 posts here that I’ve started but just never posted. A few are blog love’s *cough* DoNotFollow *cough* OddFuture *cough*. The other is regarding that recent article in Creative Loafing calling Fadia the, and I quote, “scene mommy”. Smh. Creative Loafing… I honestly think they mean well but they just have a bad habit of wrong word choices. Personally, I don’t think anyone should be labeled a “mommy” or “daddy” unless they actually have children or are of age where they can be considered an elder. I find elders to be about 50+, Fadia definitely isn’t 30 yet. But whatevs, that’s a whole ‘nother blog in itself and I’m definitely not going to blog it.

Anyway, where have I been right? Right. Well, The kNotoriety Network has been keeping me very occupied as my client roster has become more demanding (*sidebar* if you’re a web designer e-mail me). School takes up at least 85% of my time and literally keeps me up all night. I have finals next week so I’ll more than likely be on hush around here but as soon as May 8th rolls around I’ll be back.

I’ve been doing less writing on CUK (obviously) and more schmoozing with some people who can help CUK put money in my pocket… (the side hustles never cease).

ButterBabies just flat out started taking over my life but that I actually don’t mind. The three of us now live together in this moderate but classy spot in East Atlanta.  I love it.  We have officially dubbed our house “Butterhouse”.  For whatever reason, everyone seems to think our house is now the new after hours where you get pancakes and waffles.  It’s not, but if you come over we’ll make you pancakes/waffles and grits.  Anyway, you can now find me at Eastside Lounge like ALL the time.  I totally walk there, I live that close.  And the last few times I went the DJ played some awesome funk/soul/break beats.  I gotta get on those breakdancing lessons.

I’m going out of town in two weeks for a photo shoot for this kinda major magazine.  That’s kind of major.  And no I haven’t started modeling (how funny would that be? me modeling?).

Let’s see, what else. Um, I may or may not be going to Africa this summer.  I’m pretty stoked about that.  I plan on making it back to NYC this summer too.  That’s always a pleasure.  Hopefully I can go during Afro Punk Festival.  And, as always, I’ll stop by Chicago sometime.

Yeah. That’s where I’ve been. So anyway, let me get back to these finals before I become a college dropout.
